Kathy Schereck has been teaching yoga since 2018. She has been practicing yoga for over 20 years, but the real  journey began after she survived a near fatal vehicle accident in 2017.  She turned to yoga and meditation as part of her recovery process and decided to dive deeper.  Yoga healed her mentally and physically. Already a seasoned public school teacher, (retired in June of 2020), Kathy’s classes combine these concepts to provide a healing practice. 

Class Description

Slow Flow Yoga

A healing meditative approach to the ancient practice of yoga using a slower paced flow style. Practicing Slow Flow yoga has many benefits for the nervous system. It helps the body & mind to renew & rejuvenate, alleviating the damaging effects of our everyday stresses. The calming effects also support the immune system, and the body’s adrenalin system. Deep, natural breathing signals to the brain that you are ok, and the body & mind responds by going into a deeper state of relaxation, promoting greater healing. Along with the inner calm, this class also supports increased flexibility & balance, strength & resilience, increased circulation and greater health & wellness. This is an active flow “All Levels” practice. No previous yoga experience needed.
