Music

Music brings people from all walks of life together. We embrace this at the Fort Atkinson Club by offering various music events and concert series throughout the year. Join us for indoor chamber concerts, outdoor patio concerts, and summer music events. 

All concerts are FREE and open to everyone.

The Big Cheese Ball
Friday, June 12

You’ve brie-n waiting for this. As part of Fort Atkinson’s Cheese Louise event, the FAC is throwing the most ex-swiss-ite party of the summer — The Big Cheese Ball. We’re talking live music, dancing, and a fierce competition for the most gloriously cheesy outfit in the room.
Dress as your favorite cheese, your favorite dairy product, or just commit fully to yellow. Cheddar? Classic. Brie? Sophisticated. A wheel of parmesan? Bold choice. We respect it. The cheesier the costume, the better your chances of taking home the Best Dressed: Most Gouda award.
We’ll be serving cheese balls (obviously), and the dance floor will be open all night under the sparkling disco cheese ball for kids, grownups, and everyone in between. No one leaves un-feta-ed.
This is one event that’s too gouda to muens-ter! Don’t fondue to get those tickets — space is limited and tickets must be purchased in advance.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children.

Social Dance
Friday, July 10

Dance the night away — no partner, no experience, no problem.

Join us on Friday, July 10 for an evening of movement, music, and community. In partnership with Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Oconomowoc, we’re bringing the joy of ballroom dance to Fort Atkinson in a way that’s welcoming, fun, and completely beginner-friendly.

The evening kicks off with an hour-long dance lesson from 6:00–7:00 PM, led by professional ballroom dance instructors who will teach easy, approachable steps you can actually use on the dance floor. From 7:00–9:00 PM, the floor opens up for social dancing — put those new moves to work as we dance to modern hits you already know and love.

Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or have never set foot on a dance floor, you’ll feel right at home. Come solo, bring a friend, or make new ones here.

Free. No partner necessary. All ages and abilities welcome.

 

Americana on the Rock
Friday, July 17

Join us on July 17 on the FAC patio for an evening of live music, friendly competition, and classic Americana — right in the heart of Fort Atkinson. Free and open to the public. Rain or shine.

Hungry? We’ve got you covered. Concessions include hot dogs, brats, ice cream, beer, and Mike’s Hard Lemonade. (Cash only, please.)

This is a free, family-friendly community event. We’ll see you there.

The Mark Hembree Band takes the stage from 6 to 9 PM, bringing the kind of sound that was made for summer nights by the water. If you like authentic bluegrass played and sung the old-time way — spiced up with some down-home storytelling — you’ll love the Mark Hembree Band.

In between sets, get in on our live auction featuring pies, whiskey, baseball tickets, and other Americana-themed treasures — plus a 50/50 raffle with your chance to take home half the pot.
