Homegrown: A Community Gathering

October 3 | 6:00 – 9:00 PM

What makes a place feel like home?

For us, it is the people who gather here. The artists who create here. The businesses that invest here. The farmers and makers who nourish us. The neighbors who show up for one another.

This October 3, the Fort Atkinson Club Community Center will bring all of that together for Homegrown: A Community Gathering, our annual fundraising gala. Inspired by our current exhibition, Homegrown: Locally Sourced Art from the Rock River Region, the evening will celebrate the creativity, history, culture, generosity, and character of the place we call home.

Our tables will feature charcuterie made with locally sourced meats, cheeses, preserves, and other regional products. Local businesses will help us create a signature cocktail. Local artists, artisans, florists, growers, restaurants, makers, and producers will help fill the room with beautiful things to eat, drink, see, experience, and take home. The community center belongs to everyone.

The FAC exists to provide free and low-cost programs that are inclusive, accessible, and welcoming to our entire community. Throughout the year, we offer chamber concerts, FAC Talks, wellness classes, art programs and exhibitions, summer patio concerts, community meals, and much more.

Our vision is: “A vibrant Fort Atkinson area, alive with cultural and learning experiences — music, visual arts, lectures, drama, wellness and celebrations — where our diverse population is actively engaged.”
