Rhythms on the Rock: Latin Night

Last year’s Latin Night was incredible — and this year promises to be even more amazing. Get ready for an evening full of dancing, live music, and delicious food as we celebrate the vibrant cultures of the Latino community!

Starting at 6 PM on the river level inside, we’ll kick things off with a Latin dance lesson where you’ll learn the moves for the night. Get ready to learn from Luis Armacanqui of Capitol Social in Madison! He’ll be teaching Latin dance classics like Merengue, Bachata, and Salsa, along with a bit of background on each style. After this fun and engaging lesson, you’ll be all set to dance the night away!

But that’s not all! Hosted by First United Methodist Church Hispanic Ministry (FUMC), we will be serving up mouthwatering dishes, with proceeds benefiting youth activities. Support a good cause while indulging in a range of Latin foods! La Noche Latina del año pasado fue increíble, y este año promete ser aún mejor. ¡Prepárate para una noche llena de baile, música en vivo y deliciosa comida mientras celebramos las vibrantes culturas de la comunidad latina!

A las 6 p.m. comenzaremos con una clase de baile latino donde aprenderás los pasos de la noche. ¡Prepárate para aprender con Luis Armacanqui de Capitol Social en Madison! Enseñará clásicos del baile latino como merengue, bachata y salsa, junto con un poco de historia sobre cada estilo. Después de esta divertida clase, ¡estarás listo para bailar toda la noche!

Experimenta los sonidos únicos de Clave y Afinque, con algunos de los mejores músicos latinos de Wisconsin. Fundado por Jesús “Joey” Burgos, aclamado como el mejor vocalista latino de Milwaukee y sus alrededores, ¡este grupo musical promete música inolvidable!

¡Pero eso no es todo! Organizado por el Ministerio Hispano de la Primera Iglesia Metodista Unida (FUMC), serviremos platillos deliciosos, y las ganancias se destinarán a actividades juveniles. ¡Apoya una buena causa y disfruta de una variedad de platillos latinos. ¡Menú disponible próximamente! ¡No te pierdas esta inolvidable celebración de la cultura latina!
