Art Exhibition: Homegrown – Locally Sourced Art from the Rock River Region

This juried exhibition will celebrate the history, culture, and heritage of Fort Atkinson and the surrounding area, made by the people who call it home. Just as the slow food and buy-local movements ask us to look close to home for what nourishes us, this exhibition asks the same of art. And just as locally sourced food belongs on a local table, locally made art belongs in the community’s center. The Fort Atkinson Club is proud to hang the work of local artists on these walls — because this art belongs here, and this center
belongs to all of us.

Homegrown opens on July 17 as part of our beloved Americana on the Rock celebration and closes October 17 after our Harvest Ball — a seasonal arc that begins with pie and whiskey and ends with a table full of food from local growers and vendors.
