SUMMARY:Chamber Concert: Jeffery C. Wagner
DESCRIPTION:Jeffrey Charles Wagner is a Chicago-area pianist who spends much time in Fort Atkinson\, and is delighted to perform a program of popular and classical music\, with spoken commentary to the community. He earned a BA in the history of music from Northwestern University\, and a master's in piano performance from Indiana University’s famed School of Music (now known as the Jacobs School). He has taught in the community music program at the Cleveland Institute of Music\, and has written extensively about music\, primarily for Clavier Magazine. He will bring historical and cultural context with the music he perform. In this way he hopes to make for today's listeners music of previous eras to be living and and fresh expressions of our cultural heritage.
