SUMMARY:Artist Reception: Cultivate Kindness
DESCRIPTION:An artist reception is to be held at the Fort Atkinson Club on May 17 from 5-7 PM. \nThis visual art exhibition opens April 1 and closes May 31\, 2024.\nExhibition hours are Monday – Friday from 10 AM – 3 PM. \nThis exhibition will serve as a beautiful visual reminder of the importance for each of us to cultivate kindness in our own lives\, work\, and relationships. The show will be installed throughout the Fort Atkinson Club’s historic building for the entire months of April and May 2024. The Fort Atkinson Club has embraced the theme “Cultivating Kindness” emphasizing the profound impact of compassion and empathy. The theme also calls attention to the need to go beyond convenience to intentionally connect with others on a personal level. \nKindness promotes a culture of compassion\, where everybody is treated as individuals with unique stories and needs. Our hope is that your works of art will speak to enhancing the quality of life for all who may find themselves here – whether as residents or guests. \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:This visual art exhibition opens April 1 and closes May 31\, 2024. \nDo you have a work of art that raises awareness about the importance of kindness? All mediums (even nontraditional and new media!) are welcome. Send them our way to be considered for this important art exhibition\, conversation\, and catalyst for something\nmore. \nThe Fort Atkinson Club is excited to announce our upcoming visual arts exhibition on the theme of “Cultivating Kindness”. This exhibition will serve as a beautiful visual reminder of the importance for each of us to cultivate kindness in our own lives\, work\, and relationships. The show will be installed throughout the Fort Atkinson Club’s historic building for the entire months of April and May 2024. Any handling or installation process required that is out of the simple ordinary dry-wall nail? \nRegarding Sale or Not-For-Sale: This decision will be solely the artist’s decision. If your work is selected for the show\, you’ll complete a form with details including whether the work is for sale. If you decide to sell your work\, The Fort Atkinson Club requests 20% of the sale price.
